My research was done at the Ghent University, Belgium in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in the Department of Movement and Sports Sciences.
The focus was on talent identification in sports and motor control and learning. Domains explored were those of anthropometry, physical performance, motor coordination, psychology, cognition (executive functions), perceptual cognition, anticipation and decision-making. This research can provide added value to the field of sports science, coaches, athletes and others involved in the development and improvement of perceptuo-cognitive skills, talent identification and much more.
